Being a tourist {in your own town}

It drives Porch nuts.  It drives my mom nuts, even when she is a tourist, to be perceived as a tourist.  Not me.  Nope.  I live here and continue to occasionally take the sight-seeing slow-poke approach to the city.  Case in point, the other day on the return trip from our new place, we decided to come downtown via Clark.  Naturally, we got stuck in traffic so I whipped out my cell phone and did my damnedest to be a tourist.  I mean, people drive me crazy when they hang out of their vehicles to take pictures of buildings that aren't even that cool.  So I gave it a try.  I'll admit, the combination of embarrassing Porch and trying to get the timing right made it worth my time.  Besides, we weren't going anywhere fast and I was bored/exhausted. Here are the top 10 things I will miss about our current home (in no particular, well maybe a little, order): 1. In-unit laundry.   Okay, I know I'm lazy.  Our washer/dryer will now be in the basement of our building instead of being by the front door of our place.  What does this mean?  Two things:  I have to share with others (ahaha, we all know how that goes) and?  This is the big one -- I probably shouldn't do my laundry in my pajamas.  We're hoping that we can convince the landlord to let us install a stack-able in our unit, but until then?  Stairs.  Thankfully, it's not that many.  But -- and there will
